This is where the drama begins. Here, your character will make friends, enemies, and lovers. Plan out what has and will happen between characters and difine who they'll become. Included is a subboard for planning a side plot to the forum.

The rumor board is strictly in character. You may not make threads unless you are logged into the rumor account. You may reply to threads, though, as your character. Remember this is IN character and you may not create a rumor about someone unless it is about their character.

| lobby.
here's where first judgments about the school are made. normally, students gather here during the in-between class time to converse and chat with friends.

| lockers.
a lot goes on at lockrs; more than the teachers really would ever give consideration to. to the potheads and crack addicts, it's a place for drugs to change hands. for couples, it's a place to hide amongst the people for that small amount of time.

| classrooms.
there are the classrooms that are ususally jam packed with kids and then there are the others where the decrease in students has hit the school hard, leaving room for empty classrooms. these can be used for numerous things and the students tend to have good imaginations.

| gymnasium.
this gym has wood polished floors and basketball hoops galore. Students come here for either physical education, to excercise, or watch their favorite highschool team. other times, it's a getaway and a nice place to skip class. the phys-ed teacher tends to look the other way most of the time.

| auditeria.
you may be expecting the food to be heaven sent, but really it's nothing to write home about. it's not bad, but students would much rather go to mcdonald's. half do but for the ones who stick around, it's a spacious auditeria with three small levels that are crammed with tables which in turn are packed with students. it also serves a purpose for an auditorium, plays and assemblies are also held here.

| nurse's office.
aww, you have a bruise. the nurse should get you patched up in no time and you'll be headed back to class. there are good days she has and if you're feeling ill, you'll most likely get to lay down for a little, catch up on some homework when she's out of the room.

| residence halls.
otherwise known as the dorms, this is where all of the boarders at callahan academy live. they are divided into male and female dorms, nice try on the whole co-ed thing, though.

| media center.
the library at callahan academy is known for being one of the largest in south carolina. it contains books, computers, and comfortable sitting chairs for anyone who fancies a break or is just looking for an excuse to get out of study hall.

| quickgrab gift shop.
most of the time, this small gift shop, located in the bottom floor of the school, is run by the students to raise funds for the school. they sell souveniers for visitors to the school and supplies and snacks to the student here.

| twilight cafe.
attached to the school is a spacious cafe. it's a favorite spot for students to study and watch the sunset or in the early morning to watch a sunrise while drinking a beverage of their choice. the cafe windows cover two whole walls of the room, on the west side and east side which looks out onto the cavernous waves that crash up onto the rocks and shores.

| fountains.
directly behind the school lies a nice area of flower beds and spewing fountains. a few of these fountains are even famous around the country for how old and ancient they are. students come here for peace and quiet or even some time to study.

| outdoor swimming pool.
out at Callahan, some of the best swimmers are born. they have an excruciatingly good swim team, ranked three in the country and slowly working to one. this pool isn't just for them, though. during hours in the summer, it's allowed to all students and some tend to sneak out at nights for their own swims. it's a regulation pool with diving platforms across one end.

| fields.
here, the multi purpose fields are located. they're used for many different things including the sites of some science expiriments. but when not in that use, the fields are used for baseball and soccer and off a way is the track and field stadium which encompasses the school's football field.

| cliffhanger trail.
this two and a quarter mile hike ventures across the academy grounds and through the thickett of woods and forrest that's around the outer edge of the school. it leads out to the looming cliffs above the shores of the school. while it is a beautiful place, it's also notoriously known for the deaths of a few students. it is not known whether some of those deaths were intentional or not.

| pool hall.
Located inside a large, cozy log cabin, the pool hall is a place for friends and good times. It has a small diner where you can usually hang out and grab a bite to eat while watching the tournaments or playing a few rounds of billiards with friends.

| { the shores. |
| the shoreline.
These beaches and shores are known to most Americans across the country for their location, right in Myrtle Beach. The shores are always bathed in the sun unless a storm or even hurricane has taken up the day's weather. Most of the time, you can find many tourists here, cluttering up the beaches but still, it's a somewhat nice place to come on a hot day.

| the lighthouse.
this is a popular attraction to tourists. but after dark, the teens like to linger around for the peace it holds. in the late eighteen hundreds, a large cargo ship lost control during a hurricane and smashed into the bottom of the cliff below and some say that the ghosts of the crew still haunt the old lighthouse whose light was not on to guide them home.

| boardwalk.
the boardwalk here is famous for it's nice atmosphere and fun activities. some people come simply to watch the beautiful sunrise, whereas others like to play carnival games and eat cotton candy along with experiencing the rides and things along the way.

| yellow submarine.
after a giant submarine broke down in the eighties near the shore, it was hauled in and fixed up, it's owners deciding to make it into a restaurant with fresh seafood and alcoholic drinks. and of course, this all happened only after it was given a fresh and nice bright yellow coat of paint.

| the cove.
not far off of the shores lies a hidden cavern. if you swim just to the rocks and dive under, you'll come to a spacious underwater cave. some students who know about this like to come with their friends for a private get together - or maybe a cuddle. it's a nice quiet place to hold small parties and just come for a place to have fun and get away from the constant swarm of tourists.

| sand dunes.
over the years, winds and other storms have blown sand into large heaps. it's become a favorite pastime for beach-goers to climb to the top of the dunes and slide down. also, when they're somewhat vacant, the few students who own dune buggies love to take them around for a run or five around here, mostly all just for fun.

| fast food restaurants.
here's where you can find something quick to eat. students often litter the lobbies of the restraunts while eating and hanging out. sometimes, they use the places as a get together when the weather's poor or they just don't want to be outside.

| the gutter.
the gutter is the local bowling alley inside of town. it's not too far from the school and it's another popular hang out for the kids. it's a place to go and have fun while getting in a little bit of physical exercise. it's a fun place to hang out and the strike lounge also is also a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat. after nine o clock on weekends, the lights go off for midnight bowlorama.

| the washboard.
the washboard is a laundry mat famous among the kids. many don't have room for appliances in their small dorms so they must use other facilities. it only costs nothing more then fifty cents a load and a nickel for drying. not to mention it's a fun place to be if your a teenager with a big imagination.

| roll it out.
roll it out is a popular roller skating rink for all the town. when the sun is still up, tourists and families like to come here. during the evening, though, teens swarm in and take over one of the funnest places around. every friday night, roll it out has a couples skate from six to eight, another popular attraction for teens.

| the rock of ages boutique.
people come here from the towns around for the unique style of clothing and for the history. it has a lot of merchandise from bands and things as well as rock vintage kind of things. it was started in nineteen sixty eight when a new church was built for hope faith perish and everything was moved out there. the elder peirces bought it and fashioned it into a boutique. as time progressed, it was handed down to lawler pierce's parents and they own the shop. most likely, there's always a smiling face woking the register and one who will willingly help you find or order anything your heart desires.

| second time around consignments.
you wouldn't think that a goodwill store would be so fashionable. you can often find vintage wear or other neat things. it's actually a really great palce to get clothes and not pay so much for them. for a consignment store, it's pretty fashionable and all for a great price. also, they sell other things for dorms like random toasters and televisions for dirt cheap for the students who don't have so much money.

| rhapsody opera house.
concerts are held here often. every once in a while, pretty big bands stop by. it's pretty basic, but it gets the job done. there is a bar located in the back for the concerts where you have to be so wasted to enjoy the music but security is pretty tight on underage drinkers and the ones who get a little too out of hand. also, aside from the pit, there is a balcony on the second story if you can't handle the moshing and rolling that sometimes goes on during the heavier rock concerts.

| flick it movie house.
there's not much to explain. all of the big movies will open here and will play for about a month. enjoy a fresh beverage or a bag of buttered up popcorn. during the winter, be a little more aware though, because the homeless who pay the fee are allowed to sleep in the theatre for warmth but over all, it's a fun place to come in and hang out for the teens. there's also an arcade section in the lobby where you can win great prizes and play fun and silly games.

| fire house barbeque.
fire house was originally named because of it's challenging spicy foods. now, there are sweeter options on the menu for those who can't handle the heat. the loud music and occasional live bands make this a hot spot for teens. also, they have designated nights for specials and if you get lucky, you'd end up saving some cash. they're also almost always looking for hire due to the fact that half of their staff ends up with pepper juice in their eyes. aside from that, it's a nice place to come in and have a decent meal once in a while.

| the brew pub.
the brew pub provides some of the best beer around. just don't party too much, people, or you may just get thrown out. half of the town's drunkards hang around out here, though, and while it's tragic, there's no laws to stop them from being around. be careful when you're in and around here, there are a few of those weird ones hanging around.

| hit the spot night club.
this night club is supposedly only for people eighteen and up, but the security guards aren't very strict. many teens get fake IDs and even just sneak in for a good time. however, the bartender has a keen eye for telling who's underage and who isn't so don't try drinking. he's not willing to lose his club, even if you don't care.

| oceanfront hospital

| homes
this is where the students who don't board go when they end their days. some of the homes are rather extrvagant where others seem to be somewhat shanty and broken down.

| myrtle beach jail.
if you wind up in here, you've most likely been very naughty. be careful not to mess with the police men, because they don't like criminals very much. enjoy your stay here at myrtle beach jail.

| the red zone.
the red zone is a torn up barn. the man who owned this barn perished in the flames, and now the teenagers of the town have taken over it. it's one of the many places where parties are hosted, and is also rumored to be haunted.

| dew drop inn.
the dew drop inn was established as a shelter house for the jewish who were immigrating to america to get away from adolph hitler and his nazi reign. soon after the war was over, it was abandoned until a few marketers fixed it up into the inn it originally was and now it has four floors of rooms to be rented out to anyone who needs a place to sleep.

| artemesia park.
a popular park filled with pathways, gardens, sport courts, and playgrounds. the park itself, with the playgrounds, is a wide two hundred acres. some of the paths lead down to a quiet stream that runs through it where some go to fish and others go to just relax. careful though, it's a lot deeper than it looks, so don't get swept up by the current!

| the holy grail.
the holy grail is an abandoned church. The priest who had owned it passed away, and no one had any desire to continue it. the outside of it is now covered in vegetation. people who have no where to go usually end up here - it's also a good place to trade some 'goods.'

| myrtle beach community college.
the local college here may look boring on the outside but it's home to many late night parties. there are visitor days when kids from the academy are allowed to come in and look at what their future might hold for them, as well as seeing how those students already there live.
